e-Trova NV is a Belgian start-up dedicated to sustainable transportation solutions by converting existing diesel trucks into full battery electric vehicles. 


Our innovative Diesel-to-Electric (D2E) repowering process replaces traditional internal combustion engines and drivelines with advanced electric powertrains and batteries significantly reducing emissions. Our mission and vision are to lead the electrification journey for heavy-duty commercial vehicles by repowering multi-branded trucks over 16 tons GVW for urban distribution and regional transport.

Job Title: Business Developer


Location: Belgium


Key Responsibilities:


  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and transportation sectors, focusing on companies seeking sustainable solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage with potential clients to understand their specific needs, provide tailored solutions, and guide them through the D2E repowering process.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting & initial contact to project completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Networking: Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote our services and expand our client base.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and address any client concerns.


Qualifications:


  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual Dutch/French, fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business / Sales & Marketing
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales, preferably within the automotive, electric vehicle, or sustainable technology sectors.
  • Driving Licenses: B Driving licence is mandatory - C and CE driving licenses are an asset.


Skills:


  • Proven ability in consultative selling and business development.
  • Experience in selling trucks or industrial products / services is an asset.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge about direct marketing and e-commerce.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.

  • You have a start-up mindset. You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. You thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly to change, and are solution-oriented. You’re curious, hands-on, and always looking for ways to improve
  • You have a "make it happen" attitude.
  • Agile with IT tools like CRM systems, Microsoft excel, Microsoft word, Microsoft Teams. Any other IT skills will be an asset.
  • Passionate about sustainability and committed to promoting zero-emission solutions.
  • Flexibility: We’re looking for someone who is adaptable and open to a flexible work schedule, including occasional evening events. This role also requires flexibility in terms of work location — you may be working from home, in the office, or visiting clients on-site, depending on business requirements.
